About Us

The Adams Street Shul is a modern Orthodox shul that serves a diverse congregation.  We provide a place for prayer, learning, and spiritual growth, and a social environment where we foster a strong sense of community. We are a young, warm, caring, welcoming shul where everyone, no matter what their background, can contribute and be active in the life of the congregation, build on the vision of the founders of our historic shul, and link the Jewish past to the future.

A part of the Greater Boston Jewish Community, the Adams Street Shul is located in Nonantum,  within the Greater Boston Eruv. Kosher restaurants and supermarkets, day schools, the Jewish Community Center and more are but a short drive away.

As one of Newton's villages, Nonantum provides access to its excellent public school system and is conveniently located near the MBTA Commuter Rail and Express Bus to Boston for work and touring.
