I just got back from a week-long vacation with my family up in Vermont.  It was fantastic.  Beautiful weather, great outdoor activities; it was just what the doctor ordered.  I hope you are all enjoying your summer too!

Please join us this Wednesday for a Community Vigil for Victims of Terror

Wednesday, July 18
6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

War Memorial at rear of Newton City Hall
1000 Commonwealth Avenue, Newton

The Vigil is an annual event that falls during the period leading up to the
fast of Tisha B'Av, when Jews traditionally commemorate tragedies that have
befallen the Jewish people since ancient times. The Vigil will memorialize
those people in Israel who have been killed by terror attacks in recent
years, including last summer's war, and display unity with the wounded.
This year the Vigil will also provide an opportunity to show solidarity with
our brothers and sisters in the Israeli city of Sderot who are being
terrorized by missile attacks originating from Gaza, and with missing
Israeli soldiers who are still being held captive.
