Come Celebrate Israel Independence Day, Monday April 19th, with a community celebration that includes Israeli food, music, and dancing. The Adams Street Shul is a co-sponsor of the event, which will be held this year at Congregation Beth El - Ateret Israel (at 561 Ward St.).
We'll start with mincha at 7:20 pm, followed by a Yom HaZikaron Program (a community memorial service for IDF Memorial Day) at 7:40. The Yom HaAtzmaut Program (a community celebration for Independence Day) follows at 7:50 pm. After the festive maariv at 8:00 pm, we'll enjoy a special Chagigah with food, music, and dancing.
This year's sponsors include: Cong. Beth El-Atereth Israel, Cong. Shaarei Tefillah, Young Israel of Brookline, The Maimonides Minyan, Congregation Agudas Achim Anshei Sfard of Newton (The Adams Street Shul), and Bnei Akiva of Newton and Brookline.
